Why bother with a link?
Website owners want other sites to point at them because that is how people, and search engines, discover a page they have not heard of yet. A plumber pointing to a bathroom supplier, or a bookshop pointing to a local author, is a recommendation. Bought links and spam exchanges are the opposite. We only introduce sites that could genuinely sit next to each other.
How does a link date work?
Matching is not open to everyone yet. Join the waiting list and, after you confirm your email, tell us about your website. When matching is open for your account, you review suitable sites without names. If you both click Interested, we introduce you. You then agree the link and place it by hand. You both agree how each link is marked. That's your call, not ours. We call that introduction a hookup.
What is this not?
This is not a link-exchange forum. We will not ask you to drop links into a pile and hope. You pay for the service, not for links. There is no price per link. We are not endorsed by or affiliated with any search engine.
Which sites are not welcome?
Adult, gambling and crypto sites are not welcome. That is a hard ban, not a maybe.
Is it free to join?
It is free to join the waiting list. Intro is free for as many sites as you like. Paid plans include the first site. Extra sites you put on that package are £4.99 a month each. Matching and card payments are not open yet. Nothing is billed today.
Do you promise rankings?
We do not buy links, and we do not promise rankings. We make the introduction. Nothing here is a ranking promise. We cannot speak for how any search engine treats a link.
Can I invite a site I already know?
Yes. If you already know a site, open Invite a partner in your account. Choose your site, the kind of link you have in mind, and what you would like in return. We give you a private link to send yourself. We do not email them. If they join through that link, you are recorded as the person who referred them, even if they later say no. When they accept, you start a date together and agree the plan, including how each link is marked. You pay for the service, not for links.
Who decides how a link is marked?
You both agree how each link is marked. That's your call, not ours. Google suggests sponsored or nofollow for paid or exchanged links: https://developers.google.com/search/docs/crawling-indexing/qualify-outbound-links . Link Matchmaking does not require any marking. Plan fees pay for the matching, the monitoring and the support.
